A long top will be a good choice, make sure it is stretchy and fitting. It should be long enough to cover you up well so that your body doesn’t show when making different yoga positions.
In choosing pants, go for those made of lightweight material so that the fabric will not be a nuisance. Leggings will be a good choice because they stretch and also fit very well. Pants are not really your only choice, you could go for shorts. This can be the answer for you if you just don’t like pants. Don’t wear your favorite loose shorts, they will definitely show your inner pants when in yoga positions.
Another thing to put in mind is that you should layer properly. Some classes may be held outside and it could be cold, so you can have a lightweight jacket on to keep the muscles warm. When it gets hot, make sure to get rid of the many layers.
It may look calm but yoga can get very vigorous. You will most definitely sweat profusely. Wear clothes that wad off sweat easily. Some fabrics like cotton can take in a lot of sweat and doesn’t dry as easily. Go for the clothes that will not keep sweat absorbed. You don’t want to have to leave your session all wet and nasty.
In regards to women, your everyday bra is not suitable for tour workout. Sports are the best go to when working out, they are able to keep you sweat free. You will need the support of a sports bra especially during yoga workout because those moves can be very rigorous and can prove uncomfortable in case you don’t have a good bra.
